What can I say about Lissie? She is a dream come true for me, a once in a lifetime dog that captivates and pleases the eye. From her Beautiful coat, down to her lovely presence in the ring, she commanded a judges sole attention. Lissie is a lot of dog in a small, and very correct package. A group winning Chihuahua, she went on to rank #13 Long coat in 2002 and # 8 Long coat in 2003 with limited showing. She is such a standing tribute to her sire, Ch Sha-Ring Starburst's Shiner-L.

A very very nice Group 1 for Lissie, winning over some of the Nations Top Toys! This was the Best win we have ever experienced. Placed by a breeder judge who we had never shown to before...You can see by the look on her face that this placement was going to be hers and nobody elses. Always owner/breeder handled. Thank you to noted breeder judge, Sally Baugniet for a truly honest and outstanding win!

Lissie winning Winners Bitch from the 6-9 month puppy class over 52 bitches at the 2001 Chihuahua Club Of America National Rotating Specialty in N. CA. This was her very first weekend in the show ring and she finished her championship from this point undefeated.

Judge Jackie Hungerland saw the quality and awarded Ashley WB for a major and Lissie BOV. Not a bad day for these two pretty sisters:-)

This was a fun show. Our first time showing under judge Carole Beattie was such a hoot. We really enjoyed ourselves that day. This photo shows Lissie winning a nice Group 4 at the Coyote Hills KC in the Summer of 2002.

One of Lissie's earlier shows before she became a champion. She had taken WB, BOW & BOS from judge Len Reppond in the classes and then went on to compete for Best Bred by in Show. Here she is winning a Group 1, Best Bred By Exhibitor in the Toy Group the same day in May 2001 . What an honor!

This was another fun show. We so enjoyed showing under judge Sandra Goose Allen. And it looks like she enjoyed Lissie too by giving her a nice Group 3 win at our local show here in Reno 2002.

Here is Lissie winning an awesome Group 3 at the Nor-Cal Toy Specialty in March 2003 under noted judge Kenneth McDermit. This was one of our fondest awards. Lissie could not be denyed, we were so proud of her!

Lissie pictured with her look alike niece, "Ch Harger's Barefoot Contessa-L"."Tess" has plans to follow in Auntie Lissie's pawprints one day.

.....Here are just a few candid pictures of Lissie.....

Look at that beautiful perfect heart on her side!!

We retired Lissie from showing at the age of 7 and she now resides with Carolyn & Charles as a very happy, healthy and much loved member of her own family now...we keep in touch often with her new mom and dad and its such a blessing to hear news of her latest antics and share family pictures. She will always hold a special place in my heart as she will always and forever be, my little Lissie-too....
