I don't know why I never showed Doozy. I guess that after settling in as the Alpha female, she leaned towards being the matriarch of the pack. So I assumed this was where she wanted to be. She was always very serious about her duties here as protector of the pack and has contributed wonderfully for us. Doozy had been retired from our breeding program and finally at 7 years of age we were contacted by a very special friend on behalf of her parents. So we decided to place two of our older girls with her mom and dad. Being a breeder, you cant always keep the dogs that have grown older. In order to make room for their down line, and to give THEM the best of life, a loving lap, a reward of such love, means sometimes letting them go...It was very hard for me to say goodbye to both the girls the morning when they left. This was to me, by letting these girls go, closing a chapter of our program and saying goodbye to the past. I will always remember Doozy's strong presense in our home. Her sweet and easy temperment and personality, and her devotion to me above all others. ________________________
