"Requesting Prayers"
Please join the Fibrous Dysplasia online list group and foundation, in praying for the needs of these specific prayer requests from members of the FD group and non members around the world, who are also facing illness and pain. People have set aside time to pray for one another in the hopes of finding a cure for those suffering with Fibrous Dysplasia and MAS. We are asking everyone who feels led to pray, to please notify your churches, synagogues, mosques, friends and family in joining with us in prayer. Fibrous Dysplasia is an extremely rare and painful bone disease which eats good bone and turns it into a ground glass textured mush. Children with FD suffer from debilitating multiple bone fractures and deformities. These children grow into adults who because there is no cure, endure lives of severe pain and depression. Together we can make a difference and so this is our hope. Please join us...... _____________________________________________________________________________________ Brandon Is 11 and was Diagnosed with Asymmetrical Septal Hypertrophy. The Muscle has become so enlarged that it is Blocking Blood flow through the valves in his heart, causing dizziness and black outs. He has been put on medication and will now begoing for his first surgery of many. I want to pray for his strength to Understand what is happening to him and his strength to physically and mentally deal with everything that is happening. Also for god to Carry him through these surgeries so he can go on and live a somewhat normal life. Also Pray for my strength to hold myself together and be his rock of Love and support he needs. Thank you so much for making the specific prayer request list! I think the day of prayer is a wonderful idea! My church here in Warsaw, IN will be participating. I can’t reply to the whole group due to the way we have our e-mail set up, but we are participating. My son, Max, has cranial facial FD and we recently found out that he also has MAS. There is a 7mm “growth” on his pituitary gland causing him to have extra growth hormone. I’m not sure if you were at the conference in CA this fast fall, but with what Dr. Collins presented, this is very troubling to us. My specific prayer request is that this growth would shrink or go away and that we never have to treat the extra growth hormone. Our prayers go out to everyone in this group!!! I’m so thankful for this group because it brought me together w/ another mom who only lives 45 minutes away whose son also has cranial facial FD. We’ve been able to support each other like no one else can!

an update on the bladder cancer which I have been diagnosed with.
The results my trip to see the specialist at UW are pretty positive.
The dr. there did not think it was serious enought to have radical
surgery (removing bladder, uterus, and other parts) and is going
to go in and make sure all of the cancer was removed the first time

I wanted to wish everyone round the world a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday season and Happy New year. As all of you are praying, could I please be put on the list. On the 4Th of January I go for another
operation, this time to remove my last ovary now about the size
of a grapefruit and a lump in my breast that has gone from the size
of a dime to the size of a golf ball in the past month. These Masses
do not seem to be part of FD but all the same I could really use
some help as this is my 3rd operation in less than a year to try

Financial and spiritual prosperity for our family in this 2007 New Year and every year thereafter. Energy and weight loss to ease the pain on my lower back and weight bearing bones...a healthy body, mind and spirit. More clarity of thought and organization. Health for our Children and our dogs, and success in everything they do, in every way. Let Gods word spoken over our family in 1993 be completed and brought to fruition in 2007. pain is draining leaving us feeling worthless, more than that,
a burden, and the depression is a constant battle. I pray for a
miracle: that God will take away all our pain, free us from this
painful disease, and restore two-fold everything we've lost because
of this disease [restore & strengthen our faith, heal all the
emotional wounds we've caused or incurred, reunite families, restore
