Scroll to page bottom, you dont want to miss Syrah's first pups!

This wonderful win, happened when Syrah went back into the ring for the first time since right after she finished her championship a few years ago. A lovely 5 years of age now, our girl, showed like a million dollars and came into that ring with a step in her gait that made me proud to be at the end of her lead. Syrah showed herself, all I did was walk next to her..and walk as fast as I could to keep up as this little Chihuahua, can really make tracks!

Here is Miss Syrah's latest picture after just recieving her championship in Dixon Ca on 8/7/05 under noted judge Dr. Steve Keating. What a day to remember!

Syrah was so plain in fact I thought she was plain ugly when she was a puppy that I was quite pleasantly surprised at how pretty she grew up! The last daughter out of Shiner, our hopes are that she will continue on for us in her breed type and beauty. We know she will make her daddy proud.

But then as time moved on.. a little swan emerged...

Here she is winning a nice Puppy Group 2 under Breeder judge Brad Jenkins at the Nor-Cal Specialty in 2002. She did so well that day considering the crowds. It was her first weekend of showing. Both Syrah and her half sister Lissie came home with some high awards from that show. A statement to me, that we are on the right track in our breeding program. Syrah sure came through with flying colors and a few flying trots.

This was a "special" win that Syrah received under judge Len Reppond. Syrah took Best of Variety over her half sister this day from a judge who had put Lissie up in the past...when he saw Syrah, it was all over for Lissie. The new Kids in town!

Liz Turck (Our adopted daughter and handler for this weekend) has Syrah stacked beautifully on the table ready for the Judge, Mrs. Nancy Fingerhut to go over.

This was the Reno Kennel Club show June 4, 2005.  Liz handled Syrah to Best Opposite Sex for 1 point

Judge Len Reppond liked Syrah so much that he was extremely adament that she pose not only on the table, which is pictured above, but also on the floor. She was only too happy to obey.

These are just a few candid photos of Syrah---
